It's "Common Sense"
The Dubai port takeover is not racial profiling! It is about OUR country controlling OUR ports! NO OTHER COUNTRY SHOULD BE IN CONTROL or operation of any American entry point or border regardless of their current relationship with the United States.
Our government spent $18 billion to secure our airports, the box-cutter and lighter patrol, but only $630 million to protect our ports, the biggest threat of all.
Apparently it will take another event like 9/11 before our government realizes that our ports are a major exposure point for any anti-America faction to deploy weapons of mass destruction into our country, be it terrorists or an unfriendly government. Of course a container ship could deliver a deadly threat offshore before it even docks at our ports.
Multiple planes flying into no-fly zones without serious consequence and our military’s mysterious change in focus from tracking down Osama bin Laden to Iraq, the “axis of evil”, are clues about our nation’s commitment to security. The “Port Debacle” is just one more clue that our government’s mission is not Homeland Security.
Deploying our militia to control our ports, borders and airlines would have been far more effective at protecting US citizens and would have avoided the death and destruction that has occurred in the name of terrorism since 9/11. This isn’t rocket science America, it doesn’t require another Republican created multi-billion dollar department to collaborate, organize or any other non-productive use of money nor does it require American citizens to sacrifice our freedom in the name of “The Patriot Act”. It’s common sense!
“Homeland Security”, “terrorism” and “The Patriot Act” are carefully chosen words designed to gain public support for a geo-political foreign invasion and the first steps toward the implementation of “big brother” all under the guise of patriotism.
